Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has laid the foundation of a new governor’s lodge with a pledge to continue to focus on the security of lives and property of the people of Ondo State, Southwest Nigeria.
Governor Akeredolu who also inuagurated the Alhaji Khaleel Fawehinmi’s Mosque at the government house recognized various roles played by security agencies in the state and enjoined residents to co-operate with them to further nip crime in the bud.
On the new lodge, Governor Akeredolu said Ondo State deserved a befitting Governor’s lodge since the office conversion by the previous administration had suffered structural defect
He Charged contractors handling the project to expedite action on its timely completion.
Governor Akeredolu also announced that a court complex and business district would soon be constructed in Akure, the state capital
The new governor’s lodge would take two thousand square meters of land and about eighteen meters tall with swimming pool and helipad
