Three suspects have been apprehended by officers of Ondo State Security outfit, Amotekun, for offences ranging from Kidnapping, Armed Robbery, and attempted murder.

Parading in Akure, Amotekun commander, Chief Adetunji Adeleye said 37year old Usman Garba a native of Niger State, was involved in a successful Kidnapping act which was later foiled by officers of Amotekun while others are still at large.

He said one Olanrewaju Olaleye, aged 24 from Okitipupa was arrested for armed robbery and that some dangerous weapons were recovered from him; while Lawal Haruna was arrested for attempted murder.

The alleged kidnapper who confessed his involvement in two kidnappings, explained that he was co-opted to the illegal act by sponsors he claimed not to know, noting that the last operation which led to his arrest was to earn him #400,000 as his sponsors were billed to receive #4million ransom, while he got #30,000 from first operation.
