The final matches of the first Oba Ajibade Ogunoye III, Olowo of Owo Football Soccer Competition will be played today at Owo Stadium in Owo.

The final will be between Uso Community Grammar School, Uso and Imade College, Owo.

Time for the final match is three o’clock in the afternoon.

Meanwhile, the third-place game is billed for one o’clock in the afternoon between Owo High School, Owo and Adeyeri Grammar School, Iyere-Owo.

Chairman of the game is the state deputy governor Mr Lucky Ayedatiwa, while the Special Guest of Honour is the Governor of the Ondo state, Mr Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

According to the Secretary, planning committee of the Olowo soccer tournamrnt Mr Olatunbosun Oladimeji, ‘Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Ogunoye III, will lead all other Royal Fathers and chiefs to host the most popular sporting activities in Owo kingdom.

This year’s event is the first edition of the Olowo’s football competition for secondary schools in the Owo local government council area since his installation on August 7th, 2019.

Over 68 colleges in Owo Local Government area of Ondo State (both public and private schools) started the competition.
