Olowo of Owo Land, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, has congratulated the entire Muslim Community in Owo land for witnessing yet another Eid -el- Kabir celebrations.
Oba Ogunoye, in a goodwill message signed and released by his Special Assistant Media, Sam Adewale, said, being alive to celebrate this important festival is enough for them to thank the Almighty Allah for His benevolence.
He enjoined the adherents of the faith to use the occasion to rededicate themselves by moving more closer to Allah in spirit and action.
The monarch urged them to imbibe the spirit of oneness, love, selfless service to humanity and the courage to exhibit truthfulness not only at this period of felicitation but thorough out their life time.
Oba Ogunoye who appreciated the peaceful coexistence and tolerance with other religious groups in the community admonished them to continue as his reign as Olowo of Owo with their support will translate to more peace and development in the area.
The Monarch however reminded Muslims that as part of their commitment to ensure safe, healthy and seamless celebrations, its expedient that necessary safety measures are in place in accordance with the Covid-19 protocols of the Nigerian Centre For Disease Control and other recognized health institutions so that together the aim of defeating the deadly disease will be achieved.
