Ikare Akoko, home town of the late PDP House of Reps Candidate in Ondo state, Hon Olawale Ogunleye is wearing a mournful look following the sudden death of the U.S based politician.
Residents especially those who have benefited from his kind nature have not stopped talking about the U.S based businessman who also doubled as the Baba Ijo of the All saints Anglican church Ilepa, Ikare Akoko, describing him as humble, benevolent and religious.
When Positive fm correspondent visited his Omu Iyadun Ilepa, Ikare family house, shops were shut while occupants were in tears.
A member of the All saints Anglican church, Ikare, Chief Ladi Bello described the late Hon Ogunleye as an illustrious son of Ikare and a dedicated leader in the church despite his age.
Chief Bello said he would be sorely missed by all.

Another resident, Hajia Latifat Kilani noted that the deceased’s leadership traits dated back to when he was the President of Ikare Akoko students at the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo in the 90s.
Hajia Kilani prayed for the repose of his soul and also grant his family and loved ones the fortitude to be the loss.
Hon Wale Ogunleye died on Thursday in his hometown Ikare Akoko. He was said to have driven himself to the hospital but passed on few minutes after.
