Nigerian Umrah Pilgrims arrives Jeddah as the First Batch Globally for the Exercise
The first batch of 1443H (2021) Nigerian Umrah Pilgrims and First Batch globally arrived Holy land of Saudi Arabia for lesser Hajj.
According to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) the Pilgrims were received and welcomed by the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Hajj & Umrah Representatives, Nigerian Consulate General Jeddah Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Amb. Mansur G. Abdulkarim & NAHCON Director of Finamce and Accounting, Babagana Kaigama; Member of Saudi National Committee for Hajj, Umrah and Visits, Hani Al-Almiri; Saudi Arabian Top Immigration Authorities; Head of Anwar Alhijaz among others.
According to post in a WhatsApp platform of the NAHCON, the Umrah Pilgrims arrived King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, today Saturday, 14th August 2021, and they were screened and cleared by relevant authorities of the KSA.
The First Batch of the Nigerian lesser Hajj Pilgrims were also the the First Batch globally to have arrived KSA for the Pilgrimage in the year 1443AH.
They were Five in Number including a Male and 4 Females.
Member of the KSA National Committee for Hajj, Umrah and visit Hani Al-Almiri said that the group of pilgrims was received with flowers and afterwards, they headed to Madinah Almunawwarah for visitation.
