The National body of Ekiti State University Alumni Association says hard work and commitment to academic excellence earned the school it’s latest ranking of the world universities.
Ekiti State University was rated 3rd among state owned universities and 16th in the country in the current world rankings.
The Global President, Engr Dipo Bamisaye, fnse in a statement by the National PRO, Olumide Abudu commends the Management under the leadership of the Vice Chancellor, Prof Edward Olanipekun for a hard earned international reckoning.
Engr Bamisaye who also gave kudos to the Academic Staff Union of the University, ASUU, Senior Staff Association SSANU; Non Academic Staff Union, NASU, National Association of Academic Technologist, NAAT and other relevant arms of the institution, calls for more commitment to surpass the current rating.
The Alumni Association also use the medium to salute the crop of students in the institution, urging them to show more commitment to their academic prowess in order to promote the integrity of the citadel of learning.
The President, pledged continued support of the Alumni Association while admonishing Management and the Unions under JAC 3 to employ constructive dialogue on grey areas affecting the common interest of and members in other to halt the ongoing industrial impasse in the University.
