The Green Africa airline has crashed air ticket on Lagos to Akure route as it formally commenced operations in Akure, Ondo State capital.

Speaking at the inaugural flight to Akure the CEO green Africa, Mr Babawande Afolabi said the company was in the state to make air travel more accessible and affordable to the people of the sunshine state.

Mr Afolabi also emphasized that the company would not compromise safety and comfortability of its passengers.

In a remark, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu who said the state government was excited at the airline operation in Ondo State however encouraged Green Africa to be consistent and moderate in its charges.The management team of the Green Africa Airline
He noted that the airline would not only save cost but also save time for travellers and business minded people.

While expressing government support to business enterprises and investments in the state, Governor Akeredolu announced that Akure airport terminal would be completed by the end of this year while efforts were on to make the airport function properly as a cargo airport, the primary purpose for which it was established.
