The Chairman of Idanre Local Government, Prince Kayode Aroloye has been described as “God sent” to unify the Idanre people at this contemporary time.
Venerable John Oso of St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Alade Idanre stated this in a sermon titled, “The unshakable gift” during the Thanksgiving Service to mark the one year in office of Prince Kayode Aroloye as Executive Chairman of Idanre Local Government.

Reverend Oso opined that his emergence as a council boss was not coincidental but divine and commended the Chairman for how he had been objectively doing everything possible to ensure a peaceful co-existence among the people.
The Cleric praised Prince Aroloye for his welfarism programmes aimed at providing a new lease of life for Idanre people and the Local Government Staff.
He, however, called on him to use all the power at his disposal to ensure that all bad roads in Idanre received government attention.
Reverend Oso also enjoined the people of Idanre to continue to live in love and harmony.
Addressing the church, the council boss, Prince Aroloye announced that a summit of idanre descendants would soon be held to fastrack development in the ancient town.
He noted that the summit would afford every participant, Idanre sons and daughters generally the opporrunity to contribute to the growth of the community.
Dignitaries present at the thanksgiving service were the Awosunye of Atosin Idanre, Oba Gilbert Ogunlowo, the immediate past commissioner for culture and tourism in Ondo state, Hon. Yemi Olowolabi, Secretary to the Local Government,. Barr. Smart Adeuyi Councillors, Party chieftains and prominent Alade Idanre Chiefs.
