The super eagles of Nigeria on Tuesday defeated the blue sharks of Cape Varde by 2-1 in a group C world cup qualifier.
Nigeria came from behind to grab the three maximum point away from home with many of the regular players missing in action.
The super eagles now maintains its top of Group C with a maximum of six points ahead of Liberia (3 points) after the latter’s 0-1 win against the Central Africa Republic (CAR).
Nigeria will next face the Central Africa Republic in a doubleheader the first on October 9 before traveling away on October 12.
