There was Confusion among farmers in Ore Ondo State on Tuesday as a middle-aged man, Olafusi Akinseye suddenly slumped and later died following the marking of his farmland on government forest reserve for demolition.

Positive fm gathered that Akinseye who resided in Odigbo Town had developed high blood pressure since government displaced farmers from the forest reserve some weeks ago.

The farmers had protested their displacement from the forest reserves  alleging that they were ejected from the after government collected annual due of Ten thousand naira from each of them.

The deceased farmer, Akinseye was said to have been rushed to the hospital but defiled all medical procedures and later died.

Commenting on the situation, Two farmers, , Mr Raphael Ayenitaju Mr jerry Orisua, expressed shock over the sudden death of their colleague and appealed to the state government to rescind its decision as farming was their only source of livelihood.
