The Ondo State Director of National Orientation Agency (NOA) Mrs Adelayo Adefolalu has enjoined the good people of Ondo State to respect the Nigeria Currency as we mark this year Ordinance Day. September 16 is a day set aside to honor Nigeria Symbols.
The NOA Boss said National Ordinance Day is set aside to educate the citizens on the essence of honoring and respecting our National Symbols.
She explained the historical lane of these symbols from the British imperialists and how the British flag was lowered down to flag up the Nigerian National Flag on 16th September 1960.
She admonished Nigerians that as patriots, they should always pay deep respect to our National Symbols through careful handling of the Nigeria Currency,and true allegiance to the Nigeria Constitution,National Pledge and National Anthem.
Mrs Adefolalu stressed the need citizens to work hard to sustain and preserve the strings that bind them together as a Nation.
