A regent has been installed in Ijare in Ifedore local government area of ondo state.
The monarch of the community, the Olujare of Ijare, Oba Adebamigbe Oluwagbemigun Kokotiri the 2nd had joined his ancestors on August 19, 2021 at the age of 83yrs.
The new regent, who is the Salotun Of the ancient town, High Chief Omoseebi Olomi Ogunleye was unvielled today at a special cermony in the town on Tbursday.
According to Ijare tradition, Salotun automatically becomes the regent after the demise of the Olujare.
