Despite the Anti open- grazing law in Ondo State, herders in Akoko area have continued to engage in open grazing, posing threat to both human lives and farmlands.
Positive fm gathered that the cows, most times caused accident to both human, vehicles and motorcycles especially along main roads.
The latest of these incidents was an attack on a commercial motorcycle along the Afin-Okeagbe Akoko road leaving all the three passengers seriously injured and the motorcycle destroyed beyond repair.
The incident occurred when one of the cows in the herd was said to have left others while grazing in the area to attack the victims.
The herdsmen reportedy took to their heels for fear of reprisal attack by residents.
The victims were immediately taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention while the case was reported to Amotekun Corps Offficers who later came to take the dead cow away.
