The Ondo NOA Director, Mrs Adelayo Adefolalu has enjoined Muslim faithful in the state to celebrate this festive season of Eid-el Maluud which marks the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) to re-emphasize the need for peace, unity, love, tolerance, and prayers for the progress of the country.
The NOA Director in a message made available through the Agency’s Public and Media Relation Officer Ralph Oguntibeju, Mrs Adefolalu congratulated the Muslim populace in the state on the occasion of this year Eid-el-Maluud and
urged them to pray for the Unity of the country and offer special prayers against banditry, kidnappings, economy sabotage corrupt service providers, youth restlessness and recklessness.
The NOA boss cautioned Muslims to celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Maluud in line with the Covid-19 protocols by maintaining social distancing ,wearing of nose mask and other regulated procedures while observing prayers.
Mrs Adefolalu then wished the Muslim faithfuls happy Eid-el-Maluud celebrations.
