Women active participation in all aspects of development will enhance the growth of the society.

This was the consensus of speakers at the 11th annual conference of the
Federation of Muslim Women Association of Nigeria FOMWAN, Ondo state chapter held at Alara’s palace , Ilara mokin Ondo state.

The theme of the event was ” Inclusive Development In The Post covid-19 era, prospects, challenges and role of Muslim women in Africa.

Ondo state FOMWAN President, Alhaja Aminat Akinpelumi said the essence of the program was to proffer solutions to challenges facing African women.

Also speaking, the Chairperson central Planning committee for the conference , Alhaja Rafat Momoh charged women to know their role as they were very important in the society to ensure sustainable development

Alhaja Momoh explained that the event was taken to the grassroots to identify with women in the rural areas , foster love and empower the women for better future.

The speakers advised Muslim women and African women in general not to take the back seat but get involved in efforts for the progress of their communities
