An okada rider suspected to be an agent of kidnappers has been arrested at Igoba in Akure north council area.
The man popularly known as ” customer dada ” was nabbed as he allegedly attempted to take two passengers to the bush on the way to another village.
The passengers who got suspicious suddenly alighted from the motorcycle and fled and another okada rider coming their way rescued them while the suspect was overpowered and taken to the community palace.
The Olu of Igoba , Chief Adeniyi Adinlewa thereafter handed over the suspect to Amotekun corps
The traditional ruler who called for calm among the residents however enjoined the security agencies to smoke out criminals especially kidnappers using the forests in the community as hideouts.
