The Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti Alumni Association has thanked the Visitor of the Institution and the Alumni Grandpatron, His Excellency, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi’s nod to support its advancement.
Governor Fayemi gave the support while playing host to the Governing Council of Ekiti State University led by the Chairman of Council Prof Bamitale Omole in company with the Alumni President Engr. Dipo Bamisaye, Vice Chancellor, Prof Edward Olanipekun and other Council and management team.
A statement made available to newsmen by the National PRO of the Alumni, Olumide Abudu, indicates that the Governor affirmed his administration’s commitment to building functional and competitive higher education commended the Alumni Association for the support given to the School Management.
The Visitor who promised to attend the forthcoming Alumni Annual General Assembly & the 8th Special Convention this weekend 13th November in Radisson Blu Hotel Lagos also emphasized collaboration by the Association towards achieving its laudable and impactful programs aimed at building a virile University via the Alumni Association.
The Global President of the Alumni Association, Engr Dipo Bamisaye while thanking the Governor for the support so far for the University, said the Association is set to exploit its vast and resourceful products to bring to bear on the development of the University.
He emphasized that the forthcoming 40th Anniversary Founder’s day next year March will be resounding to celebrate and show the quality and strength of institution’s products
Engr Bamisaye further commended the state governor for timely response and intervention during the Management and Unions Imppasse in April this year.
