The Chairman of the Nigeria Union Of Journalists,  NUJ, Ogun State Mr Olusoji Amosu is dead.

The news of his passing broke out on Sunday morning.

Amosu reportedly died during a protracted illness.

Amosu, an indigene of Oke-Ore, Yewa South Local Government Area of Ogun State, was born on June 22, 1968.

He is survived by wife and children.

Meanwhile, some of his colleagues have described his death as a great loss to the NUJ Family.

One of them, Secretary of the Ondo state Council of the Union, Mr Leke Adegbite said Amosu’s early exit was painful in view of his efforts to protect the image of the NUJ at all time.

On His part, a former chairman of Oyo state Council, Mr Adewunmi described the death of the Ogun NUJ Chair as a personal loss.

He said “O death where is thy sting ? So so sad. Gentle, easy going, S.O.J is gone.It’s a personal loss to me”

Others prayed for the repose of his soul.
