The Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo says Nigeria’s economy remains an investment haven for serious investors.

He stated this in Abuja, at the opening of the 4th Nigerian Diaspora Investment Summit 2021 orgainsed by Nigerians in Diaspora Commission NiDCOM, with the theme “Diaspora partnership and Linkages for post-Covid Economic Growth.

Represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Boss Mustapha, the Vice president explained that partnership and deep involvement of the Diaspora and geniue investors would boost and diversify the nation’s economy.

He assured investors of Nigeria’s commitment to securing their investments, while urging them to be contributors to the growth of business and development of the nation.

The minister of state industry trade and investment Ambassador Maryam Katagum stressed the need to attract foreign investment at a time the nation is witnessing a skewed shift in foreign direct investment as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak p.

The Chairman of NIDCOM, Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa commended Nigerians in Diaspora for their contributions to the development of the nation, most especially during the height of the COVID-19, for the steps they took to support communities and alleviate the sufferings caused by the eruption of the pandemic.
