A police officer attached to a filling station along Arakale road, Akure, Ondo state capital has reportedly shot one person to death.
The officer was said to have shot the person while trying to scare people away from a scene of a motor accident which had already killed one on the road.
As at the time of filing this report, the arakale road is blocked with vehicles while okada riders are trying to protest the incident.
