The remains of the Vice president of Dangote Group, Alhaji Sani Dangote have been laid to rest.
The funeral prayers was led by the Chief Imam of Kofar Kudu Sheikh Sani Muhammad at the Emirs Palace Kano at exactly10.30am.
The body was laid to rest at exactly 11am at the Dantata family grave yard situated at Koki in Kano municipal local government area, where shiekh Tijjani Bala Kalarawi led the prayer for the deceased.
Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, his deputy Nasir Yusuf Gawuna, Emir of Kano alh Aminu Ado Bayero, Alh Aliko Dangote kano politicians and business community attended the funeral.
Presidential delegation was led by the Special Assistant to President Buhari on media and publicity Garba Shehu and minister of aviation, Hadi Sirika.
Others dignitaries that graced the occasion are Senate president Ahmad Lawan, former senate president Bukola Saraki, Borno state governor Babagana Umara Zulum, former Borno state governor Kashim Shettima and his counterpart of Nassarawa state senator Abdullahi Adamu.
