The ancient town of Ilutitun can achieve its developmental vision inclusive of security, economic prosperity, environmental revival and educational growth when the town’s Development Council engages the service of youths and leadership of quarters to create a template of support.

A financial and business analyst, Mr Teni Faromoju made the remark while addressing Ilutitun youths during a lecture to commemorate this year Moribodo Day tagged: Vision for Ilutitun Community Development Project in the ancient town of Ilutitun.

Mr Faromoju who was so enthusiastic about Ilutitun development project opined that the leadership of Ilutitun Development Council must ensure that youths and other stakeholders were supported in their bid to become self empowered particularly in this dispensation when securing government jobs had become a mirage.

The guest speaker enjoined members of Ilutitun Development Council to protect and ensure the development of the youths through provision of creative activities to divert their attentions from indulging in actions that could jeopardize their future.

Mr Faromoju challenged members of Ilutitun Development Council to create a forum that embraces culture of voluntary activities among students.

He was of the opinion that they could organise free coaching for students in lower classes during holidays while the retirees could as well be encouraged to be part of the educational system by teaching the community history and also offer to guide the students in making good career choices.

Students from Comprehensive High School, Ilutitun, Moribodo College, Ilutitun, Manuwa Memorial Grammar School, Iju- Odo, Olabayo Memorial College, Ilutitun, members of Ilutitun Youth Development Forum, were present at the event.

Also Dignitaries including Evangelist Olorunwa Akinyemi, Pastor Charles Ayerin, Evangelist Isaac Fanegan, Chief Michael Okeniran among others graced the occasion.
