The act of lifting the society from the scratch with humanitarian gestures is very uncommon among men but the late member of house of representatives, representing Akure south /Akure North federal Constituency Mr Adedayo Omolafe has these inherent trait domiciled in him.
This was why, Mr Omolafe during his lifetime had it as part of his constituency projects to give hospital equipments, Tricycle Ambulance to ten health care centres in Akure North/ Akure South south constituency as well as build multimillion naira water projects at Igoba, Akure North, Ijaro community,Akure south and Odopetu, Akure south.
Chairman at the event, Mr Gbenga Jegede said Mr Omolafe came to reduce pains of the masses through his humanitarian gestures especially intervention schemes.
Mr Jegede implored the beneficiaries to use the donated goods by the late Omolafe judiciously.
Addressing the gathering, wife of the late lawmaker urged the beneficiaries of the multimillion naira health equipments to make good use of the largesse.
Commenting on the massive health equipments donated by the late member of house of representatives, two medical directors of primary health from Akure south/ Akure north federal Constituency Dr Adeyemi Osowe and Dr Olawanile Jibawo all applauded the great legacy of Mr Omolafe saying that the ambulances and other health equipments provided by the late house of representative member would be used judiciously and maintained as expected.
Two members of the communities where multimillion naira water projects were commissioned at Odopetu and Ijaro communities Mr Ojo Sunday and Ajayi Joseph opined that the people of the communities would never forget Mr Omolafe good works particularly the water projects he executed in the federal Constituency of Akure south/Akure north local Governments.
Other people who gave commendation of the great legacy of Mr Omolafe at the occasion included a resident of Ijaro community Mr Dayo Akinsulere, Director of Nursing isolo Comprehensive Health Centre, Nurse Oladumiye Bolanle a former pdp Vice chairman, Elder smart Oloye.
