Reflecting on the joy heralding the birth of Jesus Christ in this season came to the fore again at the service of carols and nine lessons held by Positive fm Akure in conjunction with CAC, Oke Iyanu, Aule in Akure.
Leading the Bible reading was Pastor Omoniyi Omolayo followed by Pastor Paul Amoo, Deaconess Saliu, Mr Oladele, PDP state woman leader, Mrs Kemisola Adesanya who sponsored the programme and Mrs Bosede .
Others who took the lessons were Mrs Bola Ige, lady Evangelist Ebunoluwa Arannilewu and the Genera Manager , Positive FM Akure, Mr Tunde Abiodun.
In a message from the book of John 3:1-5, the Pastor in charge of the church Olatunde Alimi submitted that the miracles performed by Christ Jesus on earth were meant to further bring people to the knowledge of salvation.
Giving her goodwill message , the sponsor of the event and the state PDP woman leader, Mrs Kemisola Aladesanya represented by Mr Boluwaji Oyeniran charged the congregation to always show love to one another which Christ portrayed.
In a vote of thanks, the Positive FM General Manager, Mr Tunde Abiodun hinted that the programme was meant to advance God’s kingdom message especially in the Christmas season.
The carol service was attended by staff of positive fm Akure and members of the CAC Oke iyanu, Aule Akure.
