In a resolve to ensure full security of life and property in Ondo State, the new Commissioner of Police, Mr Oyeyemi Oyediran, has pledged to work with all legally constituted security agencies in the state.
Assuming office at police headquarters, Igbatoro road, Akure, Mr Oyediran said he was in the state to collaborate with other stakeholders in order to ensure people sleep with both eyes closed.
Mr Oyediran who had undergone training in war against kidnapping and terrorism in the United States of America, charged Nigerians to be patient, saying kidnapping, banditry and terrorism would be over before long judging by efforts of the Federal Government in tackling the crimes.
He called on the people of the state to avail the Police and all appropriate security agencies information on suspicious movements in their areas for immediate intervention.
Speaking on the abuse of human rights being perpetrated by some officers, Mr Oyediran said the rate of the incident had reduced.
