Celebration of Christ birth was marked with sparkle at the Federal Polytechnic Ile-Oluji 2021 service of carols and and nine lessons including productivity awards for deserving staffers at the institution.

 

Leading the scripture reading was the Rector , Professor Emmanuel Fasakin and followed by other principal officers , acting deputy rector, Mr Adeolu Olawunmi, Registrar, Mr Gabriel Awe, bursar, Mrs Olufunke Ogunbodede and the Librarian, Dr, Jerome Idiegbeyan-Ose.

Others were Solomon Akindutire, Dr Kayode Oloruntoba, Samson Omogbehin and Oyetunde Oyelola.

In an Exhortation from the book of Matthew chapter 1:1-3 , the District Overseer, Four square Church Akure , Pastor Jerry Oyelude said Christ was born for everyone to establish relationship with God noting that carols without Christ at the centre of one’s life amounted to nothing

The Rector, Professor Fasakin used the occasion to list some of the achievements in the outgoing year which included full accreditation of some five HND courses taking off in February next year , Unionisation of both staff and students among others.

In a remark, the Jegun of Ile-Oluji, Oba Oluwole Olufaderin hinted that the federal Polytechnic Ile-Oluji had brought a lot of transformations to the community urging the management not to rest on its oars.

Outstanding members of staff as well as students including Mr Longe Oluwaseun, Olugbeyega Ayodeji, miss Adepoju Rebecca, Ajayi David, Aliu Basirat got the Institution’s productivity awards for the year.
