The Onibuji of Ibuji kingdom in Ifedore local government area of Ondo state, Oba Folagbade Ojo has congratulated the people of the kingdom for witnessing this years Christmas.
Oba Ojo in a goodwill message also felicitated the good people of Ondo state on the occasion of the birth of Jesus Christ urging them to make love and giving which were the hallmark of the celebration their watchword.
The monarch who prayed for a peaceful transition to 2022 expressed the hope that the new year would usher in greater things for Ibuji Community, Ondo state and Nigeria in General.
Similarly, the Orunja of Odigbo kingdom in Odigbo local government area of Ondo state, Oba Rufus Akinrinmade has rejoiced with Nigerians especially Christians on this year’s Christmas celebration.
In a Christmas message to the people of Odigbo and Nigerians in general, the monarch stressed the need for moderate celebration urging them to also remember the less privileged among them at this period.
Oba Akinrinmade always urged all Nigerians to work towards a peaceful co-existence which he noted was capable of bringing more development to the country, wishing them a prosperous 2022.
In the same vein, the Iralepo of Isinkan, Oba Oluwagbemiga Olofin Adimula has sent greetings to all and sundry, most especially the entire people of Isinkan as they celebrate this year Christmas.
In a release made available through one of his media aides, the Kabiyesi maintained that, Christmas remains fundamental and significantly essential in Christendom which coincides with the birth of Jesus Christ.
The statement reads further that, the core values and traits of our Lord Jesus Christ which symbolises love, faith, selflessness, sacrifice and forgiveness, just to mention few; must be seen in us and practically put into effective use.
The Christmas celebration is not fully fulfilled and not representing the true principles of Jesus Christ if we are unable to reach out to the less privileged people around us. Our purpose of existence as an individual is to ensure we do our possible best to encourage those who are not doing well to do even more better; he urges.
As a traditional institution, we will continue to act under purview of the law to protect the lives and properties of everyone and ensure rights and living together of diverse tribes within in Isinkan Community are not tampered with.
The statement also enjoined all the Christians faithful across the line to imbibe the spirit of forgiveness and prayers towards a more prosperous nation. As we can all see, things are tactically uneasy everywhere and the better time to talk to God is now.
However, the Kabiyesi reiterated his commitment to peace, progress, stability and development of Isinkan community and its environs. He therefore, charges everyone living in Isinkan Land to continue to pursue peace, be security conscious and observe all Covid-19 protocols in order stem down the spread of the diseases.
Finally, the Kabiyesi and traditional ruler of Isinkan Land wishes everyone, the sons and daughters of Isinkan both home and abroad a blessed Christmas celebration and Prosperous New year 2022 in advance.
