Professor Taibah Danmole, eldest child of Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Jimoh Oyewumi who joined his ancestor last month, has passed on.
She was aged 71.
Her death came few days to the 40th day Fidau prayer for her deceased father who reigned for 48 years as Soun.
Professor Danmole, a member of the Lagos State University, LASU, and governing council of Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, reportedly died Saturday evening in Ilorin, after a protracted illness , a family source said.
She’ll be buried Sunday afternoon in the Kwara state capital.
