Tragedy struck in the ancient city of oka Akoko southwest local government as an unidentified police officer was shot dead by unknown gunmen suspected to be armed robbers.
The sad incident which attracted attention of many people occurred around oke maria axis of oka Akoko on Tuesday.
Ondo state police public relations officer DSP olufunmilayo Odunlami confirmed the incident but did not give details of the victims.
