Three times African champions the Super Eagles will face the Black Stars of Ghana in the final play-off of the 2022 World Cup qualifier.

Nigeria who had participated in all editions of the quadrennial global football showpiece since they made their debut in 1994 edition except the 2006 tournament, were paired against the black stars of Ghana in the play-off draw held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 in Cameroon.

In other fixtures, Senegal will battle Egypt, Cameroon will take on Algeria, Dr Congo tackles Morocco while Mali will trade tackles with Tunisia.

The two-leg home-and-away play-off will take place in March.

The overall winners of the matches will represent Africa at the World Cup in Qatar which has between November and December this year
