Kano state house of assembly has called on the state government to as a matter of urgency expedite action on the speedy prosecution of the alleged killers of a five year old girl in Kano.
The call was sequel to a motion of public importance sponsored by member representing Nasarawa local government area, Alhaji Umar Musa Gama.
According to him there’s the need for the house to mandate the state government to take strict measures aginst perpetrators of the evil act.
Alhaji Umar Gama said, the state should also map out new policies that will protect children against all forms of aggression.
While contributing to the motion,majority leader of the house Alhaji Labaran Abdul Madari expressed support to the motion of public importance.
After careful deliberations, the house mandated it’s house committees on judiciary and women affairs to investigate and submit its report within four weeks, for further legislative action
Kano state government had revoked the operating licence of Noble kids academy after the remains of the five year old girl Hanifa Abubakar, was discovered at the school premises.
Meanwhile, some irate youths had set the school on fire.
