Ekiti State Government has declared tomorrow Thursday January 27 work free day in all public and private Schools.
A statement by the Director of schools, Mr O.R AJAYI urges all heads of schools to comply with the directive.
Though, there was no reason given for the work free day in schools, Positive fm gathered that it was as a result of the Governorship Primary election of the All Progressives Congress scheduled for tomorrow.
It was further learnt that the party had resolved to adopt Direct Primary for its primary and such will take place in 177 wards across the state.
