The Ekiti State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of one hundred and five suspected thugs in the State.
Police public relations officer, ASP Sunday Abutu, said the suspects were apprehended by soldiers on guard at Ita-wure area of Ekiti state.
He said the suspects were arrested with various dangerous weapons such as cutlasses, guns and charms.
ASP Abutu confirmed that the suspects are still with the military but would be prosecuted as soon as they are handed over to the police.
