The Osun state government has opened the Olaiya flyover bridge for public use.
Governor Gboyega oyetola who performed the opening ceremony appreciated motorists and other road users for their patience while the construction works lasted.
Governor Oyetola said the road was opened to reduce the hardship being experienced by motorists who had been using alternative routes during the construction period.
He appealed to them to obey traffic rules and other necessary precautions while using the flyover.
The governor gave an assurance that security personnel would be around the area throughout the day .
Some road users which included Mr Gasaliyu Sunmibola and Dara Adewumi expressed joy over the opening calling on government to do more impactful projects in the state.
