The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the 2023 presidential aspirant, Bola Tinubu has solicited the support of members of the House of Representatives to become the next President come 2023.
Appearing before APC House of Representatives caucus at the National Assembly in Abuja, Mr Tinubu said he was asking for the federal Lawmakers’ supports not to step on President Muhammadu Buhari’s toe but to fit into his shoe.
He noted that he was the most qualified of all candidates aspiring for the Presidential seat in the country due to his wealth of experience.
The presidential aspirant declared that his presidential ambition was to replicate development in Lagos to the federation by putting all infrastructure in place.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila described Tinubu as a man who put the All Progressives Congress (APC) together.
The speaker added that he is the only Presidential aspirant that has not taken Nigeria for granted, campaigning nationwide and giving respect to whom it is due.
The caucus pledged their full support for Asiwaju Tinubu while the majority leader of the House, Alhassan Doguwa called for voice vote.
