Ondo female footbal club, Sunshine Queens has lost one of its goal Keepers, Elizabeth Johnson popularly known as Janded to the cold hands of death.
A statement by the media officer of the sunshine queen’s , Femi Atolagbe says Johnson died on Saturday after complaining of fever and drowsiness.
It states that the goal keeper was hale and heathy before the incident as she still trained with the team on Friday at the Ondo State Sports complex, Akure.
The statement adds that Johnson died while being taken to the hospital, a situation which has left the players and management team of the club in shock.
