The death has occurred of a veteran journalist and pioneer head of news of Positive fm Akure, Pa Aderemi Adedayo.
He died on Saturday in Ibadan, Oyo State, exactly a week to his 77th birthday.
A native of Esa-oke in Osun state, Pa Adedayo retired from the service of Radio Nigeria in 2007.
He is survived by children and grandchildren.
Burial arrangements for Pa Adedayo will be announced later.
