It was a joyous moment as Jehovah’s witnesses re-opened their kingdom halls for service on Sunday across the country after been shut for two years as part of measures to curtail the spread of coronavirus.

The witnesses who were dressed in beautiful attires said they were excited to converge physically again.

Speaking with newsmen at the Ajipowo, Akure Kingdom hall, some of the members, Mr. Ezekiel Owolabi, Ifeoluwa Arenibafo, Dotun Adelayi and Mrs Kemisola Okejimi expressed gratitude to Jehovah God for re-uniting again.

The Covid-19 precautionary measures was strictly adhered to, such as wearing of nose masks appropriately, washing and sanitizing of hands before entering the kingdom hall, reduction in number of gathering and social distancing.
