Report says unknown gunmen have killed the Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Atakumosa East Central local government of Osun State, Chief Gbenga Ogbara.
It was gathered that Ogbara was shot dead inside his sitting room in Igangan, his hometown, around 12am today.
Ogbara’s body was said to have been deposited at Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Osun Command, Mrs Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the incident.
Opalola said: ” It is true, we are investigating it.”
Also contacted, the Director, Media and Strategy, Barr. Kunle Oyatomi said he heard about it but yet to confirm.
