The Association of Ondo state Indigenes in Oyo, Osun, Ekiti and Edo States has given awards to some individuals and organisations for their giant strides and positive impact in the society.

The individuals awards went to olowo of owo, Oba Ajibade Ogunoye, APC Chieftain, Sir Pius Akinyelure, Ondo state Amotekun Corps Commander, Chief Adetunji Adeleye, the SSA to Ondo state governor on security , Alhaji Jimoh Dojumo, and the traditional ruler of alagbaka , Oba Afolabi Obasuyi.

Radio Nigeria Positive FM got the corporate award category.

President of the association, Mr Femi Ajijala said the association was committed to good governance, welfare, economic empowerment, skill acquisition and protection of the interest of ondo state citizens wherever they reside.

Mr Ajijala announced that the association would train 10,000 people on basic entrepreneurship and financial literacy to enable them to access funds.

One of the group’s Executives and organiser of the event , Mr Akin Joye also explained that the association was all out to be of help to its members.

Receiving the station’s award , the general manager , Positive fm Akure, Mrs Olubunmi Olalere appreciated the association for the recognition with a pledge that the station would continue to dish out reliable information and be more Committed to uniting the the people.

Highlights of the event were goodwill messages, entertainment of guests among others.
