The State Director of Ondo NOA, Mrs Adelayo Adefolalu has called on the christians in the state to celebrate the commemoration of the death and resurrection of Jesus as a period for all christians to reflect on the path of Jesus Christ and their relationship with God in ensuring the fulfillment of Christianity.
The NOA Director gave this charge in a press release made available to newsmen in Akure during the weekend through the Public Relations Officer, Mr Ralph Oguntibeju while urging the faithfuls to embrace the teaching of the lord Jesus Christ by showing love to one another, live in peace and promote unity among citizens. She called on the christians leadership to ensure that their followers maintain the principles of spiritual reflection and love for humankind by keeping to the commandments of God.
Adefolalu charged that celebration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ should be moments of counting on the significance of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ to the world.
She stressed the need for prayers for the leaders to direct the affairs of the country in the best interest of all Nigerians.
She enjoined the Christians to emulate the teachings and exemplary life of Jesus Christ, adding that, the sacrifice of his crucifixion and resurrection should not be in vain.
The NOA boss therefore called on Christians and non Christians in Nigeria at large to live together in unity, love, peace and eschew violence in all forms of it’s presentation.
