The Police in Ikare Akoko, Ondo State have rescued seven passengers from kidnappers.
The passengers were said to be coming from Gombe state.
According to area commander of police, Ikare Akoko, ACP Muri Agboola said the kidnappers waylaid the travellers between Ayere and Akunu Akoko.
ACP Agboola said mmediately the case was reported to police in Ikare Akoko, they swung into action combing the forests around the blackspots of the road which later yielded fruitful result.
The victims were full of joy and happiness after regaining their freedom from the den of kidnappers who usually terorise the travellers on that axis.
