Emerging scenario in Oyo town, particularly at the Alaafin’s palace indicates that traditional rites have begun for the late Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi.

For instance, some traditional rites have been  going on inside the palace as at the time of filing this report following the arrival of the “alawos”.

Also, the visit, one after the other of close palace dignitaries such as emeritus Archbishop Ayo Ladigbolu suggests strange happening linkable to the development.

Moreso, residents of the town who have besieged the palace in multitude have also been exchanging greetings associated with bereavement in Yoruba tradition, such as ” eku ara fera ku, eyin won o daa o “.
