As preparations for the 2023 elections gear up , Nigeria needs a man after God’s heart with capacity to revive the dwindling economy.

These were the words of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu during iftar, the annual breaking of fast with the Muslim community led by Chairman, league of imams and alfas in Ondo state, Alhaji Ahmad Aladesawe held in Akure.

He told the Muslim faithful to intensify prayers for a peaceful, prosperous Nigeria before and after the general election.

In a speech, the chairman Ondo state Muslim welfare board, Alhaji Zikrullah Adam appreciated the governor for the completion of the government house mosque and prayed for sound health for him.

Eminent personalities who joined the governor for the IFTAR were the deputy governor, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa, speaker of the house of Assembly , Mr Bamidele Oloyelogun,secretary to the state government Princess Oladuni Odu, chief of staff, Chief Olugbenga Ale, Chief Imam of Akureland , Alhaji Yayi Akorede, members of the state house of assembly and security chiefs in the state.
