As aspirants make top preparation to clinch their parties tickets, Governor, Oluwarotimi has announced that he has no preferred candidate .
The governor who made this known during a meeting with APC aspirants in Akure however gave an assurance of level playing field for all aspirants.
He also specifically asked serving lawmakers in the state who had performed below expectation in their constituencies should reassess themselves before contesting the party’s tickets.
Earlier, chairman of the party , Mr Ade Adetimehin, reminded the aspirants that the party would be guided by principles .
Two of the aspirants ,Mr Jimoh Ibrahim, Mr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo were optimistic that APC was the party to beat in the forthcoming election due to people oriented projects executed by Akeredolu administration.
