THIRTEEN KEY PORTFOLIO HOLDERS RESIGNS IN SOKOTO.
Gov. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto state has accepted the resignation of thirteen key portfolio holders in his administration.
At the top of the list is the deputy governor Hon. Manir Muhammad Dan Iya, who resigned AS the Overseer of the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
Also in the list are the Commissioners for Finance, Environment, Youths and Sports, Lands and Housing; as well as Careers and Security.
Other Commissioners who resigned are those of Commerce, Works, Water Resources, Solid Minerals and Religious Affairs.
The remaining are Secretary to the State Government Mallam Sa’idu Umar and the Chief of Staff, Mukhtar Umar Magori.
It was gathered that the resignation connected with their political ambitions in the next year’s general election.
