Ahead of parties primaries , Residents of Ajue in Odigbo council of Ondo State have appealed to Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and the leadership of APC to resist imposition of aspirants.

This came up as the people held a peaceful demonstration to protest an alleged imposition of an aspirant for the seat of the Constituency in the state House of assembly .

The protest which lasted for hours affected free flow of vehicular and human movements in the axis.

The people claimed that the imposed aspirant was not from Ondo State and did not have any impact on the town.

Addressing the crowd , APC ward leader in Ajue, Mr Adelegan Omosuyi said Ajue deserved to be considered following the people unflinching support for ruling Party

Mr omosuyi maintained that imposing an unpopular aspirant could pave the way for opposition party to win the assembly poll

Two youth leaders, Jackson Ayomide and Akingbola Adeyemi appealed to governor Akeredolu and the APC leaders to intervene in the spirit of fairness so that the people of Ajue were not shortchanged.
