Ondo State Directorate of National Orientation Agency (NOA) has called on the good people of the state to participate actively in the April Edition of monthly Environmental Sanitation Exercise slated for Saturday 30th of April between the hours of 7-10AM with full restrictions of both human and vehicular movement during the period of the exercise across 18 Local government of the State.

The Ondo State NOA Director, Mrs Adelayo Adefolalu made the call in a message signed by the Public Relations Officer of the Agency Ralph Oguntibeju and made available to newsmen in Akure on Friday urged the people of the state to massively come out and clean up their surroundings.

She also urged residents to maximise the time to clear and clean their drainage channels and premises, as well as dispose waste properly at designated points for the government accredited waste collectors to pick-up.

The release stated that anyone found dumping waste inappropriately, would be prosecuted in accordance with the State Environmental Extant Laws.

Mrs Adefolalu therefore directed all the COMOS in the 18 Local government across the state to closely monitor the exercise and report accordingly immediately after the sanitation exercise.
