The State Director of Ondo NOA, Mrs Adelayo Adefolalu has congratulated Muslim faithfuls in the state over the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan fasting and celebration of Eid- el-fitri and solicited prayers for God to guide our conduct as one indivisible Nation.
In a message signed by the Agency PRO, Ralph Oguntibeju on Monday made available to Newsmen in Akure, the NOA boss said this is the time, more than ever before, to connect to the virtue of love, compassion, unity and generosity which Prophet Muhammed symbolises and which the holy month of Ramadan taught us urging faithfuls to embrace all the teaching of Prophet Muhammad (SAW)
Mrs Adefolalu particularly appealed to Muslims in the state to shun divisive tendencies capable of drawing back the country’s wheel of progress and development and urged all citizens to be law-abiding and continue to pray for a peaceful Nigeria especially as we prepare for elections.
“Ramadan fasting observed over the last one month has no doubt taught a lot of lessons to mankind and this period, therefore, further inculcates in us a stronger feeling of mercy, love, brotherhood and good character”.
